Being home for the holidays means skiing on our home mountain- Seven Springs! The conditions have been awesome with tons of fresh powder. Place is absolutely packed though with everyone being home and New Years Eve being tomorrow. Looking to spend some quality time here this week then I’m ready to head back down south!

Christmas 2012!

Love this time of year! This year is even more fun, because it’s Amy’s first white Christmas! The seasons are flipped in Australia so she’s used to hot Christmas on the beach and a BBQ ;) Thankfully we got tons of fresh snow just before opening gifts so it felt extra festive.

Here’s 2/7 of the Christmas trees that go up! Family Christmas party tonight and lots of fun to be had!

Went a little crazy on my Mom this year, but she deserves it more than anyone! :)

Amy went crazy on everybody; including myself! Decked me out in all new ski gear, new skis, clothes, a GRAMOPHONE (post to come on this later), and tons of other stuff! So thankful for everyone in my life and all of their support throughout the years.

I have to say that this Christmas I learned that it’s definitely about GIVING more so than receiving.

Giving Back For Christmas

This Christmas Amy & I wanted to give back in a way that we could actually see (rather than mailing a check), so today we raided Toys ‘R’ Us and went down to the local homeless shelter. It felt absolutely awesome lighting up some smiles!

Amy’s R8 Gets A Makeover

As soon as we got back home after picking up Amy’s new R8 it was immediately dropped off at Carbon Wraps Orlando. She wanted to do something different to the car instead of your typical matte colored wraps that pop up left and right. We ended up choosing one of 3M’s latest finished…brushed steel. The outcome was amazing! Also, be sure to check out the video of the entire wrap process.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween with family and friends! My Dad was in town so we through on a couple morphsuits that we found lol. They got a hilarious reaction from the little kids! It was Amy’s first Halloween too since they don’t celebrate it in Australia- she loved it! Next year we have awesome costumes planned. ;)

Big Day Yesterday! Amy Got An R8!

Yesterday was a big (long) day for us! We got up at 4AM to catch a plane to North Carolina. From our initial days in contact with each other, Amy would mention that the Audi R8 was her ultimate dream car. There was even a large photo of an R8 that hung above her office desk. Well, yesterday that dream of her’s become a reality! She’s been working so hard on her company Infinite Prosperity and all that we do together as well. Huge congratulations to you babe! Couldn’t be more proud of you :)

We’re not going to leak any photos of the exterior yet, because it’s getting dropped off tomorrow to be wrapped. The wrap combination with the wheels that are currently being built for it are going to look just down right crazy! Can’t wait to share tons of photos and videos once it’s complete! For now here’s one interior teaser shot…

Getting Healthy!

For the past three years I have grown way out of shape after moving to Florida. No sports and sitting in front of a computer for 16 hours a day catches up to you I guess! With a big push from Amy, who’s a health and fitness nut, we’re killing it together! We’ve been eating 100% organic and cut going out for dinner altogether- though we do have treat days on Sundays if we want. After a week in, I can already tell you I’m feeling much better! Most of it’s probably in my head, but hey whatever makes you feel good :)

Currently alternating days between running and weight training at the gym. Looking to start our first hot yoga class this week though. Super excited for that! Supposed to be really good for you both mentally and physically. Have any of you ever done it?!

Day Trip To Miami Yesterday

Amy had never seen South Florida yet, so we decided to take a day trip to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach to do some shopping! I’ll include a few photos below, but there’s a full write up and more photos on her blog- she wasn’t too impressed! lol

It’s a not a road trip without a run in from the law! I wasn’t even speeding (hey I hear you…seriously I wasn’t!). He apparently “clocked me”, but never gave me my speed. Ran my information (which is all good) and came back with a $10 fine that my “insurance wasn’t present” and gave me a warning for “speeding”…errrrgh! Oh well…

Stopped by Lamborghini / Pagani Miami to see my buddy Brett David and the new Huayra. Just amazing.

Far From It Go Karting Meetup!

Last night Amy and I held a meetup for all Florida residing Far From It members. We started out by meeting everyone at PF Changs for an awesome dinner and then went over to the Orlando Grand Prix indoor karting center. Extremely nice facility and the karts are pretty snappy for being electric too! It was awesome to meet everyone in person that we’ve been talking to for months on our forum. The rivalry between all of us was pretty intense lol… Amy and I are both very bruised up (and sore) today! Ah!

Probably the most touching moment of the night was when Mike Marsh (one of our forum members) came up to us. He mentioned that through our book and the help of others in our community he quit his minimum wage job at Target and replaced his income entirely by starting a new e-commerce business online. He even bought himself a brand new car as a treat! We’re so proud of Mike for taking the road less traveled. Congrats man!

Max Lupo was there with his camera for the entire event so we’ll be sure to post up the full video soon!

In the end I ended up taking #1 on the podium! We were all extremely competitive with each other which made it super fun. My best lap time was 28.466 and Mike (2nd place) was 28.469! The heat is on for next time ;)

Well, it’s officially for sale…

This was a very tough decision for me, but I think it is finally time to list up my Underground Racing Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo for sale. I’ve owned the car for almost two years now (1 year with the turbos) and I’m simply ready to upgrade to something newer. Many of you were very upset to see me list this car and said it defined who I am and how they know me, so it made this choice that much harder. View full eBay Motors listing here.

So, what’s next then? Honestly, I have no idea at the moment! The Aventador isn’t exciting me much, I’m not a Ferrari guy at heart, and the new McLaren doesn’t fire me up either. There is one little guy out there though that is very dear to my heart so I’ll probably be picking up one of him for sure ;) We’ll keep that a surprise for now, but do note he will have more power and be crazier than my TTG here! You guys won’t be let down.

At the end of the day though, it’s you guys watching these videos and keeping up with what I’m up to so I’d like to hear it from you in the comments. What would you like to see me in next? Before you do that though, enjoy some recent photos thanks to Ian Roth…
